Maybe you’re feeling anxious, stuck in patterns that don’t feel healthy, or unsure how to move forward in your relationships — and ready for something to change.
You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin therapy. Many people start therapy feeling uncertain or overwhelmed — that’s okay.
Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what’s been weighing on you, and begin moving forward with more clarity.
Hi, I’m Julie.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I believe therapy is a deeply relational process. Feeling seen, heard, and understood can be truly transformative.
Our work together is grounded in acceptance and nonjudgment. This is a space where you are free to show up as you are, without pressure to have the right words or answers.
Therapy has been meaningful at different stages of my own life, which is one of the reasons I believe so strongly in the process and the power of connection.
Whether you’re new to therapy or have tried it before and didn’t feel the right fit, I invite you to consider giving it another chance. Finding the right therapist matters.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and paced to meet you where you are. Together, we’ll focus on what feels most important to you while building insight and tools that support lasting change.
I work with adults who are navigating emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Some of the areas I commonly support clients with include:
Anxiety
Persistent worry, overthinking, feeling on edge, or struggling to slow your mind and body down.
Relationship Patterns
Repeating dynamics, communication challenges, people-pleasing, or feeling stuck in unhealthy relationships.
Boundaries & Family Relationships
Difficulty setting boundaries, guilt, family conflict, or navigating emotionally complex family dynamics.
Depression & Emotional Numbness
Low mood, loss of motivation, feeling disconnected from yourself or others, or moving through a difficult season.
Trauma & Emotional Healing
Past experiences that continue to impact how you feel, relate, or see yourself — including relational or attachment-based trauma.
Life Transitions & Identity Shifts
Major changes, expat life, role transitions, or periods of uncertainty where things no longer feel clear.

Relationships can feel especially challenging during periods of disconnection, conflict, or major life stress. Many couples seek therapy not because something is “wrong,” but because they want support navigating patterns that no longer feel healthy or effective.
In couples therapy, I help partners slow down difficult interactions, improve communication, and better understand each other’s emotional experiences. Our work focuses on increasing awareness, strengthening connection, and creating more intentional ways of relating.
Whether you’re facing ongoing tension, difficulty communicating, or feeling distant from one another, couples therapy can offer a space to explore what’s happening beneath the surface and move toward a healthier dynamic together.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with advanced training in evidence-based approaches for anxiety, trauma, and relationship work. My work is informed by modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Gottman training for couples counseling, attachment-based therapy, and relational approaches.
I regularly pursue ongoing training and consultation to ensure my work remains thoughtful, ethical, and responsive to the needs of the clients I serve.
